🎙️ A diary you say out loud

Say one line. Then say it again — differently.

Whisper it. Overdo it. Sound exhausted by it. EchoTakeDiary stacks every take of the same sentence, slightly out of step, until a small crowd made entirely of you says it back.

four takes of one sentence, layered live

✨ What it actually does

One sentence. Several truths about how you say it.

Every feature exists to turn a single spoken line into a small, honest archive of your moods.

🎭

Four moods, one line

Record a sentence, then get asked to say it again — quieter, brighter, wearier — until the same words carry four different weathers.

🪞

An honest delivery check

The app listens to how each take actually sounds and tells you, plainly, whether it landed as whispered, delighted, or tired as you meant it to.

🌀

Nothing is ever finished

Come back next week and drop a fifth take onto an old line. Every sentence keeps collecting new versions of you, each stamped with the day it arrived.

🎚️

Pull apart, press together

Drag the takes until they separate into distinct voices, or push them until they land as one thick chorus. The shape of the crowd is entirely yours.

🔒

Kept on this phone, period

Every recording stays local. Nothing uploads, nothing syncs, nothing is shared unless you deliberately send it yourself.

📈

A quiet mood map, over time

Weeks of takes slowly reveal which moods you can carry easily and which ones you keep swapping out for something safer.

Try the stacking, right here

This mirrors the in-app mixer: each layer is one take of the same line. Add takes, then drag the slider to pull the voices apart or press them into one.

🎙️ About Us

We build for the sentences you keep half-saying

🎙️We're a small studio of people who got obsessed with an odd question: what happens if you say the same sentence four different ways and actually listen back? EchoTakeDiary grew out of voice memos we never meant to keep, the kind that stack up in a phone's Recently Deleted folder for weeks because deleting them feels wrong.

🪞Our mission is simple and slightly stubborn: give people a way to hear themselves say the true thing, the tired thing, the thing they only manage in a whisper — and then let them see all those versions sitting side by side, honestly labeled, with nowhere to hide.

🔊What the app gives you isn't a transcript or a mood chart pretending to be a friend. It's a small crowd of your own voices, each one a different attempt at the same sentence, that you can pull apart to hear individually or press together until they blur into one chorus.

🌊It matters because most diaries only capture what you were willing to type. Yours also captures how steady your voice was while you said it — and over a month, that record becomes the most honest one you'll have written. One line. Four takes. A whole self.

🔐 Privacy Policy

What we do with your voice: nothing

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

EchoTakeDiary was built around one non-negotiable rule: your recordings belong to you and only you. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means in practice.

1. Information We Collect

We collect nothing. EchoTakeDiary does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, or any account details. Your voice takes are recorded and processed entirely on your device — we never receive them.

2. How We Use Information

Because no information ever reaches us, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, profile, or sell. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not train external models on your recordings, and we do not know how many takes you've made, on what, or in what mood.

3. Data Storage

Every sentence, every take, and every delivery reading is stored locally in the app's private storage on your phone. There is no cloud backup, no remote server, and no sync service tied to EchoTakeDiary. If your device is offline, the app works exactly the same.

4. Third-Party Services

EchoTakeDiary does not integrate analytics kits, advertising networks, crash-reporting trackers, or any other third-party service that could observe your usage or your audio. No data leaves the app, so there is nothing for a third party to receive.

5. Data Security

Because your recordings never travel over a network, the usual risks of interception, server breaches, or leaked databases simply don't apply here. Security is handled by your device's own operating-system protections, the same ones guarding your other private files.

6. Children's Privacy

EchoTakeDiary does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all. The app contains no data-collection mechanism through which a child's personal information could be gathered, in line with COPPA principles.

7. Your Control

There are no accounts to manage and no servers holding a copy of your voice. You can delete individual takes or entire sentences at any time from within the app, and uninstalling EchoTakeDiary permanently removes every recording along with it — nothing lingers anywhere.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, an updated version will be posted within the app with a revised effective date above. Continued use of EchoTakeDiary after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@echotakediaryapp.com. We read every message ourselves.
